Biography

 

Michael P. Enea, Esq. is an associate attorney at Enea, Scanlan & Sirignano, LLP. He focuses his practice on federal and New York estate tax minimization planning; wills, trusts & estates; and elder law.

Mr. Enea is presently completing his studies for a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University.

Mr. Enea is admitted to practice law in New York and Florida. He received a B.A. in Legal Studies from Quinnipiac University, graduating magna cum laude, and a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude and was an associate managing editor of the St. John’s Law Review.

An active member of the legal community, Mr. Enea is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the New York State Bar Association (Trust & Estates and Elder Law & Special Needs sections), the American Bar Association, and the Westchester County Bar Association. His expertise and commitment to client service were recognized when he was named a Rising Star in Thomson Reuters' Super Lawyers Metro New York list for 2023.

Prior to joining Enea, Scanlan & Sirignano, Mr. Enea served as a corporate associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, LLP and a private equity associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP, advising public and private companies and financial sponsors in connection with mergers and acquisitions. He was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Paul Crotty, United States District Court, Southern District of New York, and an intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Connecticut.
